
Bridge 23
The project included the replacement of three Substations for Metro-North Railroad at Bridge 23, New Rochelle and Pelham along with a Signal Station at Mount Vernon.
Work included all civil and electrical work at Bridge 23 consisting of the installation of 138KV Transformers, (2) 27KV Switchgear Buildings, (2) 138KV Gas Insulated Line-Ups along with a 138KV Control Building.
At the Mount Vernon Signal Station, work included all civil and electrical work for the installation of (1) Signal Station consisting of 15KV (60Hz & 100Hz) switchgear, motor/alternator set, battery banks and 12KV transformers.
At the Pelham Substation work included all civil and electrical work for the installation of a 27KV ductbank along the railroad right-of-way, installation of (1) 13.8 KV switchgear building and the installation of (4) 13.8 KV catenary ties on the railroad.
At New Rochelle, work consisted of the installation of (1) 27KV Switchgear along with the installation of a 27KV ductbank from the New Rochelle substation, transferring to aerial along the Metro-North Right-Away.
