The new electrical substation will provide additional capacity to the campus, two Con Edison feeds will be replaced with three new feeds. The new substation will provide increased reliability and additional redundancy for a third feeder.

The Work included all site preparation including clearing and earthwork, site improvements including relocation of storm sewer, sanitary sewer and potable water lines in the vicinity of the new substation, and roadway restoration, foundations for the new substation equipment and fire separation walls. Verde supplied and installed a new prefabricated 10.0/13.3 MVA substation and associated transformers, PLC’s and SCADA systems along with all High Voltage ductbanks and feeders.
